Emmuas Testimonial
“Louise’s creative wellbeing work at Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney. Louise brings warmth, creativity and encouragement to every session, helping our companions build confidence, develop new skills and feel a real sense of achievement.
Through creative upcycling and craft activities, companions have the opportunity to connect with others, explore their creativity and transform donated materials into beautiful, meaningful products. Louise’s approach supports wellbeing while also promoting sustainability and contributing to Emmaus’s income-generating work.
We believe this programme makes a genuinely positive difference to our companions and the wider Emmaus community, and we are very pleased to support Louise’s work.”

Headteacher Testimonial - Supporting the Mindfulness & Resilience Programme
“We are very pleased to support the Mindfulness and Resilience Programme, which provides families with practical tools to build confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
The programme gives children and parents a safe space to learn together, develop strategies for managing worries and emotions, and strengthen family relationships. We have seen positive changes in confidence, self-esteem, resilience and emotional awareness, as well as improvements in school engagement, friendships and attendance.
Families have told us they feel better equipped to support their children, and we believe this preventative support can make a real difference during the important transition into secondary school.
We are delighted to continue working with the retreat programme and would strongly encourage continued funding so that more local families can benefit.”

Headteacher Testimonial - Supporting ongoing Family Coaching
“The Mindfulness and Resilience Programme gives families valuable tools to support their wellbeing, build resilience and manage everyday challenges. Continuing this support through ongoing coaching would help families put these skills into practice and provide trusted guidance as new challenges arise.
The relationships built during the programme are incredibly important. Families feel safe, supported and comfortable seeking advice, making ongoing coaching a natural way to continue that positive support.
We believe this follow-on support will make a real difference to the long-term wellbeing and confidence of both children and parents.”
