About us

  • The Kindness Company Norfolk CIC is a community interest company created because we believe that kindness, connection and early support can make a real difference to people's lives.

    We work with children, adults, young people, families and communities across Norfolk, creating safe and welcoming spaces where people can build confidence, improve their wellbeing, learn new skills and feel connected.

    Our work brings together wellbeing, mindfulness, creativity, practical life skills and positive relationships.

    We don't believe support should only happen when someone reaches crisis point. We want to help people earlier, when the right support can make a real difference.

  • Our projects are designed around the needs of the people we work with.

    We deliver and develop programmes including:

    • Parent and Child wellbeing and connection days

    • Wellbeing and mindfulness programmes for children and young people

    • The Step Up Programme for young people in care preparing for independence

    • One-to-one wellbeing and coaching support

    • Creative and upcycling activities with the Emmuas (a homeless charity )

    • Community workshops and wellbeing activities

    We also work alongside schools, housing organisations, community groups, practitioners and other organisations to create projects that respond to real needs within our communities.

  • We know that sometimes people simply need someone to listen, believe in them and give them the opportunity to try something different.

    For a child, this might mean having a safe space to express themselves.

    For a parent, it might mean having time to reconnect with their child.

    For a young person leaving care, it might mean learning how to budget, cook, manage a home and believe that they can build a positive future.

    For us, small acts of kindness can lead to much bigger changes.

    Practical – giving people skills and tools they can use in everyday life.

    Creative – using art, making, nature and creativity to encourage expression and confidence.

    Preventative – offering support before challenges become crisis.

    Connected – bringing people together and helping them build positive relationships.

    We listen to the people we support, work with partners and use feedback and evaluation to continually improve what we do.

    As a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee, our purpose is to create social and community benefit through the work we deliver.

    We are passionate about making a difference in Norfolk and creating opportunities for people to feel more confident, more connected and more able to thrive.
