Parent & Child Mindful Days

Building Calm, Connection & Confidence.

And then there’s our magical Tent of Kindness…

This travelling space is available for schools and festivals, offering a memorable and immersive mindfulness experience for children and families. Inside the tent, you’ll find four thoughtfully curated activities—each designed to calm the nervous system, inspire creativity, and plant the seeds of kindness. Whether it’s breathwork, mindful crafting, storytelling or gentle movement, the Tent of Kindness offers a beautiful moment of stillness and connection in the middle of busy lives.

These aren’t just activities—they’re experiences children and parents remember always.

If you’re a parent looking for support, a school interested in bringing mindfulness into your environment, or an event organiser wanting something truly meaningful—our doors (and our tent flaps!) are always open

Parent & Child Mindful Days

Building Calm, Connection & Confidence

At The Kindness Company, we understand how overwhelming anxiety in children can be, not just for the child, but for the parent, too. Many parents feel helpless, unsure of how to support their child’s emotions while also managing their own. I know this journey personally, because I’ve been there too. That’s why we created our Parent & Child Mindful Days, gentle, supportive experiences designed to help both parents and children feel calmer, more connected, and more confident.

These special days take place at my home in Poringland, where families are welcomed into a peaceful, nurturing environment. We share a lovingly prepared lunch, take part in mindful activities together, and create space for open-hearted bonding. The day is about slowing down, tuning in, and discovering simple yet powerful tools to manage anxiety and support emotional wellbeing, together.

The results have been truly heartwarming. We’ve seen drastic changes in children’s confidence, emotional regulation, and ability to express themselves, as well as a noticeable shift in how parents feel about supporting their child. There’s laughter, lightness, and sometimes even tears of relief. These are days families will carry with them for a long time.

To make this experience more accessible, we also offer mini taster sessions at John Lewis and bring our mindful approach into schools through workshops that are tailored to support both pupils and parents.

"Thank you for making us feel really welcome and warm.

We have really enjoyed it! We will be back!"
